In 2002, Mr. Sunil Jain with firm belief and a noble sight to educate the mass children especially in his home town, Dera Bassi,laid down the foundation of Lala Deep Chand Jain Public School With a Single Hall Rom and I got the privilege to join him in his noble step to spread literacy among the thousands of children of Dera Bassi and adjoining areas Now the Sapling has grown into a big tree under wich is taking care of hundreds of students from near and far under its shadow. This multistoried building has all basic amenities that accounts for the all round personality and Development of a Child. From the very beginning, the school as been made its efforts in a unprecedented manner. House System

To instill in children a sense of belonging team spirit, Co-operation and healthy competition the school is divided into four houses. The house Master/Mistresses and the captains meet regularly to discuss, organize and put in to action inter-house events. The daily maintenance of discipline and cleanliness in the hands of house on duty.
